Dante once Said, "Nature is the art of God." This quote is evident in the realistic wildlife artwork of Cathy Munson. 
Her intricately detailed watercolor technique contributes to the beauty and detail of her original studies.

Adding to the recognition and popularity of Cathy's artwork is her being widely known for her featured cover art and commissions for the University of Texas Athletic and Law School special projects and publications. She has painted portraits of the last five UT Longhorn mascots (Bevo) which were printed as collector's limited editions. "Longhorn of Champions" (Bevo XIV) is her newest limited edition print in celebration of national championships and recognition of the UT Silver Spurs. Her "Longhorn #1" was selected as featured art for the University of Texas Ex-Students MasterCard. It along with two other Bevo XIII originals is on permanent display at the UT Silver Spurs Museum. The artist's "Hoofbeats of Champions" mural of stampeding longhorns was commissioned for the Mike Myers Track and Soccer Stadium at UT.
